STEVEN RANEWA
Steven Ranewa originates from Western Highlands Province. Having graduated from the University of Papua New Guinea in 2001 with Honours Degree in Bachelor of Laws. He attended Legal Training Institute (LTI) in 2002.
Mr. Ranewa started his career with Paul Paraka Lawyers from 2003 to 2007 at the Firm’s Head Office in Port Moresby. He left to work with Makap Lawyers until April 2010, when he was recalled by Paul Paraka Lawyers in March 2010 to join them again as the Supervising Lawyer and Branch Manager at the law firm’s Vanimo office in West Sepik Province.
He worked there until 2012 when he resigned to work with Rimbunan Hijau Group of Companies as their Senior Legal Officer. He worked there until March 2015 when he joined Kawat Lawyers.
Mr. Ranewa started his career with Paul Paraka Lawyers from 2003 to 2007 at the Firm’s Head Office in Port Moresby. Mr. Ranewa is well vested in litigation matters in both civil and criminal jurisdictions at the District, National and Supreme Courts. He has wealth of experience in advising various clientele on different areas of law including conveyancing, drafting contracts and other memorandums, forestry, land (customary and otherwise), family and commercial law.
